PLUMBING PROBLEM SOLVING
Your home’s plumbing is one of its most mysterious systems. All the pipes are hidden in the wall, so it’s hard to know what is happening in there. And when you have a problem, you have to rely on a plumber, which can be very expensive. Prospective buyers are often frightened away by any signs of leaky pipes, ceiling stains, mold stains or antiquated bathroom fixtures.
When selling your home, it’s important to solve any plumbing issues before you list it. Be sure to repair any cosmetic damage that leaks have caused after the plumber has finished the repairs. Plumbing repairs are cost effective, because most sales agreements call for all systems to be in working order. If you have a problem, you will probably have to repair it before closing anyway, so by doing it ahead of time, you eliminate that issue.
Plumbing that is in top condition will give the impression of a well-cared for home which is always more attractive to potential buyers.
